One of the solutions to growing plants to eat with only a little room is to grow flowers that you can eat. Here are some Nasturtium that you can eat both the greens and the flowers, infact you get a better plant from cutting it now and again. You can add them to salads for something different; I have also seen the flowers dipped in a light batter and deep-fried, just salt them and serve. They grow really quickly and can add a splash of colour to a drab landing or patio.
