Well it’s going to be a big day on Saturday as I’m going to my first raw/living food festival. As I was on the way home the other night I saw a sign for the festival outside our local Steiner Church. I had to do a lot of wheeling and dealing to get the day off so I hope it’s worth it.

I’m planning to go to as many workshops/talks as I can fit in. Angela Stokes is giving one of the talks I am looking forward to seeing, she has lost over 10 stone that’s 140lbs in the four years she has been raw.

You can find out more about the festival by clicking on the link below.

  • I hope I get lots of inspiration from the day. One of the problems I have is unlike when I became Vegan I don’t have the support network I did back then. I’m not saying I want loads of people around who are also raw, I just like the thought that if I wanted to chat about what I’m eating or what mistakes others have mad would make me feel like I was part of something.

Unlike when I went Vegan this is a give or take change, I really don’t have to do it as it has no political ramifications, the only thing that benefits from all of this is my health.

I have just re-read the last paragraph and a thought just struck me ‘do I really think that little of myself that my health shouldn’t be the most important thing in my life?’

I will leave you with that thought dear reader. But it makes you think doesn’t it?

    Hi Bear,

Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog!

Well done on getting the day off! I would have loved to go, but unfortunately I won't be able to. I hope you'll provide your readers with the full report! ;o)

There was a raw festival just outside Plymouth on the bank holiday weekend, but I didn't hear about in time! Oh well, at least I'm off to the Detox Your World Retreat in October!

Take care and enjoy the Festival of Life!
