Today Japan launched it's whaling ships to hunt the Humpback Whale, they plan to hunt and kill 1,000 Whales of which 50 to 100 will be the Humpback Whale.

The Humpback Whale was thought to live 50 to 60 years but a recent study of one is using technology that uses the liquid behind the eye to age them found one that was thought to be over 200 years old. Though more tests are being done to fine tune the tests.

The slaughter of the worlds largest mammals has to be stopped and the best way to do that is to support the 'Sea Shepherd' they are the only organization to actively obstruct the worlds whaling fleets. Anyway they can...

Please take some time to click on the 'Sea Shepherd' link above and read their website, maybe even send them a e-mail to show your support.
